When a client hears nothing, they fill in the gaps themselves. Photos without context are not always helpful, but a short update turns the end of the day into a report people can understand.
What a short clear report includes
- What was done today and in which area
- Three to five photos that show the work
- What remains for the next step
- A question or decision the client needs to give
Choose photos that show progress: before, work in progress, and the result. You do not need to send every photo on your phone.
Write like you explain it on site
Start with the area name, say what was done, and finish with what happens tomorrow. If the work changed from the plan, say so directly and write who needs to approve it.
A regular report helps you too: after a few days you can see what really moved, what repeated, and where a delay started.
