Email is fine for receiving files. It is a poor place to work. Without a link to the project and budget, every attachment stays "just a file" no amount, no vendor, no pay date.
What to do on site
- Connect your work email in the app
- Ask the assistant to find relevant quotes and invoices
- Save the file on the project and link it to spend or budget
When the file sits next to the budget, you do not drive back to the office just to “find the PDF”.
